BC students win scholarships

Natalia Bryant and Nic Oliver, both students in Bellevue College's Nuclear Medicine Technology program, have earned Paul Cole Technologist Scholarships worth $1,000 from the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. Bryant and Oliver are both pursuing associate degrees in the field, and will graduate in March of 2014. They join three other BC students who have won this scholarship in the past decade.

The technology program is a subspecialty of radiology, and involves the administration of radioactive materials to patients in order to diagnose and treat certain diseases.
