Pets for adoption | Jan. 11

Chiyo was surrendered to Purrfect Pals Cat Shelter by her previous owners. Her owners were moving a lot (typically every six months), and this became so stressful for Chiyo that she began pulling out her hair. Chiyo would like a stable home where she can settle in and know she’ll be safe. She is an extremely affectionate cat who loves to give head butts and demands that you pet her. She doesn’t seem to like the company of other cats, so she’d prefer to be queen of your household. Chiyo is up for adoption at Purrfect Pals Cat Shelter’s offsite adoption center inside Bellevue Petsmart (100 108th Ave N.E, near Toys ‘R Us).
Tabitha is a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix. Her whimsical ears and furrowed brow are only a tiny part of what makes her so irresistible. Give Tabitha a squeaky toy and watch her puppy spirit come alive from the twitch of her little nose to the end of her wagging tail.
Sonora is a 1-year-old beauty with fluffy black fur and gorgeous green eyes. This little darling is quite the love-bug who cherishes chin rubs and back scratches. Offer her a place on your lap and listen to the sound of contentment – purrfection.
Both are at the Seattle Humane Society in Bellevue, located at the intersection of I-405 and I-90. It is open seven days a week from noon to 6 p.m. For directions call 425-641-0080.
