The folks over at Common Folk Art Co. have decided a year is far too long to wait - and will be hosting their second "Art in the Street" arts fair at Crossroads Mall this Saturday.
"We had such a great response," said store owner Kathryn Straub in regard to the success of their first event in June. "The community, and our customers, just really seemed to enjoy it."
Building on this success, Saturday's event will feature 15 artists - including milliner Mikele Kieffer of tuzziemuzzie.com, whose unique fascinator style hats proved a top seller earlier in the summer. Other artists being featured include jewelry designers Elizabeth Johnson and Christina Stoll, as well as clothing and toymaker Susan Ishii-Yin.
The second "Art in the Street" arts fair will take place in the parking lot outside of Common Folk Co. on Saturday, Aug. 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. And unlike the last time around, the sun is expected to make an appearance!
