Police foundation seeking executive director

The Bellevue Police Foundation is seeking an executive director.
The person in this volunteer position is responsible for publicizing the foundation and its activities, soliciting contributions, monitoring the budget, overseeing the website, organizing and coordinating all fundraising events, serving as the public spokesperson, recruiting new board members, and preparing quarterly meeting agendas and attending the meetings.
The successful candidate will be a well-connected businessperson with a real commitment to public safety and the mission of the Bellevue Police Department.
Prior nonprofit board membership and fundraising experience is highly desired. The estimated time commitment is 5-10 hours per week to start, and expected to increase to 20 hours per week as the foundation grows. The successful candidate will need to make at least a 2-year commitment to this position.
