Preschool to open in Mercer Slough Environmental Center
Pacific Science Center’s new Polliwog Preschool will open its doors Jan. 9, 2012 at the Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center in Bellevue.
The nature-based preschool program will allow children to get their hands dirty while investigating the world around them.
The preschool is designed for children age 3 to 5. The classroom and facilities sit amidst an extensive, natural setting – a biologically diverse 320-acre wetland nature park in the heart of Bellevue.
The Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center is a collaboration between Pacific Science Center and the City of Bellevue. Pacific Science Center, a not-for-profit institution, provides science-based education programs. With the same focus, the City of Bellevue provides environmental interpretive programs for adults and families.
