Child Safety Day set at Factoria Market Place on Saturday

The Bellevue Police Department, Overlake Hospital and Factoria Market Place are sponsoring “Child Safety Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Factoria Market Place.

The organizations will be fitting bike helmets for kids. The helmets are $9 while supplies last. The first 50 children under 12 will get a free helmet

“Operation Child Safe” kits with photo ID and fingerprints will be provided by the Bellevue Police Department and parents will be given information about ways to keep their children safe throughout the year.

Radio station, KWJZ 98.9 FM will have a booth and will be broadcasting live from noon to 2 p.m.
