Symetra Financial has named Michael Fry, a six year veteran of the company, as its next senior vice president for the Group division. Fry assumes leadership of the division from Scott Taylor who, after more than 26 years overseeing Group operations, announced his retirement.

Symetra Financial has named Michael Fry, a six year veteran of the company, as its next senior vice president for the Group division. Fry assumes leadership of the division from Scott Taylor who, after more than 26 years overseeing Group operations, announced his retirement.

Before joining Symetra, Fry was a senior vice president and chief operating officer of Lincoln Re Risk Management Services and previously held various management positions within Lincoln Re.

Bellevue’s GA Creative adds two to staff

GA Creative, a Bellevue-based graphic design and marketing firm, has added a new copy writer and office coordinator.

Lisa Halpern joins GA’s strategy and content group as a writer, bringing background in creative writing and film. She has worked on communications such as videos, radio spots, websites and other marketing materials, for clients at city of Seattle, Microsoft, Dell, Vulcan Productions, and many others. She has won numerous awards for her work.

Laurel Callaway will help maintain the firm’s financial and project accounting systems.
