Finalists named for Eastside Business Awards

Finalists have been announced for the Eastside Business Awards. The Bellevue Chamber of Commerce event will be held May 12 at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue.

The 2010 finalists are:

Eastside Business of the Year: Foushée and Associates, Inc., Intelius, Inc., and Motricity, Inc.

Eastside Small Business of the Year: Avidian Technologies, Guidant Financial Group, and Pharmacy OneSource

Eastside Emerging Business: Lakeside Center for Autism, Motricity, Inc., and Root Wireless, Inc.

Eastside Non-Profit/Community Impact: Emerald Heights Retirement Community and Overlake Hospital Medical Center

Any business located on the Eastside was eligible to compete for an award. Companies submitted applications based on category guidelines that were judged by an independent panel of regional business leaders.

New to the event is entries of a promotional video to highlight how a company and its employees are dealing with a tough economy. Entries will receive votes online and the top vote getters will be shown and the winner selected at the luncheon. Deadline for video submissions is April 30. The awards luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $65 for members, $85 for non-members; corporate tables available. To register, visit www.bellevuechamber.org or call 425-213-1205.
