Bellevue firm wins in design contest

Mike Jones, Dean Harris and Yvignette Tang of JPC Architects in Bellevue won first place March 8 in the Commercial category at the 13th annual Northwest Design Awards.

Designers, architects and students competed with projects in 14 competition categories. A panel of West coast industry experts evaluated submissions through an anonymous process, measuring each project on the basis of proportion, composition, use of space, materials and appropriateness of the design solution.

The awards gala was held at Seattle Design Center in Seattle.
