BDA forum to focus on real estate market

March 19, 2012 · 11:16 AM

Analysts are starting to believe that some parts of the economy - notably real estate - are on the mend.

A panel of local experts will discuss whether or not this trend is catching on locally at the Bellevue Downtown Association's monthly forum, March 28. "Our Real Estate Economy," will explore the latest facts and figures in the area, leading to a "state of the market" type discussion. Panelists will explore whether or not some small signs of life in the economy are leading to a full-scale revival, the driving demand force in downtown Bellevue, and what the future holds locally, and statewide as well.

Panelists are Suzanne Baugh, director at Commercial Real Estate Solutions and Cushman and Wakefield; Richard Leider, principal at Trinity Real Estate; and Monica Wallace, senior vice president of Wallace Properties. Jan Morris, of Bank of America, will moderate the discussion.

The event begins March 28 at noon at the Bellevue Club, 11200 SE Sixth St. The cost is $40 for a BDA member, and $50 for non members. Registration deadline is March 23.
