New restaurant coming to Hyatt Regency Bellevue

December 1, 2011 · 11:20 AM

The founders of downtown Bellevue's popular Pearl Bar and Dining are at it again.

KORAL, a "New American Tavern," will open in early 2012 in the Bellevue Hyatt Regency hotel.

"Where Pearl is sleek, sexy and sophisticated, KORAL is the contemporary, warm counterpart,” said Co-Owner Mikel Rogers.

The 7,800-square foot restaurant will take over the former Twisted Cork space and feature what owners call a casually elegant setting and a vivacious bar.

Construction is expected to be complete by mid-to-late February.

The menu includes dishes that, on average, are slightly less than $20.
